The worst analogies ever written in a high school essay

First, a word about today to those of you who are familiar with me & my daughter.

I spent most of today with Leah--my 22-year-old daughter--who is recovering from cranial decompression surgery.

Around noontime, we went to the neurosurgeon for the post-op eval, and the physician's assistant seemed pleased with her progress.  However, it does appear that Leah's recovery time is taking a bit longer than the "average" patient.  Instead of 6 weeks, she may be looking at 9 or more weeks to fully get back on her feet. Crud.

Therefore, they've asked her to convalesce at home for another 3 weeks--meaning no work & income--and they'll reassess her condition at that time.

So, continue to pray for her.  She's frustrated, bored, worried & still suffering from post-op pain, fatigue, depression & dizziness.  She (and a concerned dad) would really appreciate it.

Oh yeah:  I received this today.  Leave it to teenagers to be unintentionally hilarious.  Enjoy.
