1. Tease them mercilessly
2. Show favoritism/ make unfair comparisons
3. Be a hypocrite
4. Be rigid
5. Be consistently negative
6. Incessant nitpicking, nagging, complaining
7. Bully them
8. Have unrealistic expectations
9. Be emotionally distant
10. Be inconsistent in discipline
11. Don't discipline them at all
12. Don't spend time with them
13. Don't listen attentively
14. Don't show concern, compassion, empathy
15. Intentionally embarrass them in public
16. Make promises you can't/won't keep
17. Love them conditionally ("I will love you if....")
18. Push off "your dreams" on them
19. Be manipulative
